Bob is proud to have given back to his community in numerous ways. He has been a dedicated and active member of the following organizations:

 

• Bob was a trustee on the New Paltz Central School District's board of education for a total of seven years, including stints as vice president and president. 

• He served on the board of Kingston Hospital for three years, and was one of the founding members of the Foxhall Ambulatory Surgery Center board of trustees, serving as its first chairman.  ​

• A member of the New Paltz High School Scholarship Committee for several years, Bob has enjoyed serving as their volunteer auctioneer many times.
